Sorry, but I really do not know much about cameras, especially about DSLRs. I own a "point and shooT" cam myself, soo....But I know that Nikon D70s and Canon EOS350D are quite popular, they seem two be two of the best DSLR cams available for beginners.

But you should ask someone who knows a bit more than me :P
